Destiny‑skapare vinner stämning mot Sony och Bungie om regissörstitel i Marathon

Rättstvisten mellan Sony, Bungie och den tidigare utvecklaren Christopher Barrett har nu avslutats, och parterna har nått en uppgörelse som utföll till Barretts fördel. Christopher Barrett skriver i ett inlägg på sociala medier att parterna har kommit överens om att han åter ska listas i eftertexterna till {Marathon} som "original Game Director", efter att tidigare ha tagits bort från spelets eftertexter i samband med att han lämnade Bungie efter 25 års tjänst.

Sony, Bungie och Christopher Barrett skriver i ett gemensamt uttalande:

"The litigation between Sony Interactive Entertainment, Bungie, and Christopher Barrett has been settled. For 25 years, Mr. Barrett contributed to some of Bungie's most successful games. Mr. Barrett was the original Game Director for Marathon, and his name has been added to the game's credits to reflect that."

Christopher Barrett skriver också att han är "very satisfied with" den uppgörelse som har nåtts och att han nu kan "focus my attention on what's next in my gaming journey, and I look forward to what lies ahead.".
