The 49ers are signing wide receiver Dante Pettis to their practice squad, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report. Pettis was one of nine players to work out for the team on Tuesday.
The move comes as the 49ers deal with injuries to their wide receivers, including Ricky Pearsall (out for season), Christian Kirk (injured reserve), and others. Pettis, 30, was originally a second-round pick by the 49ers in 2018 and had 467 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie. He has since played for the Giants, Bears, and Saints, making nine catches for 127 yards in eight games with New Orleans last season. hilogame.news
