The 49ers have signed safety Ashtyn Davis to a one-year deal, waiving running back Jermar Jefferson in a corresponding move.

The San Francisco 49ers have announced the signing of safety Ashtyn Davis to a one-year contract. In a corresponding roster move, the team has waived running back Jermar Jefferson.

Davis, 26, spent the 2023 season with the Miami Dolphins where he appeared in 15 games with 12 starts, recording 63 tackles, four passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble and two special teams tackles. The former third-round pick (2020) by the Jets has played in 84 career NFL games with 34 starts. ipl-today.in
