Broncos Sign LB Stone, Release WR Butler

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with outside linebacker Ron Stone Jr. and released wide receiver Hakeem Butler in corresponding moves.

The Broncos have added outside linebacker Ron Stone Jr. to their roster, while releasing wide receiver Hakeem Butler. Both players previously competed in the UFL this spring. chickenroadslot.lat

Stone, 26, recorded 5.5 sacks and five tackles for loss with the Columbus Aviators and 3.5 sacks and four tackles for loss with the Michigan Panthers in 2025. He was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2024 but was waived with an injury designation during roster cutdowns.
