Daniels Returns to Practice for Commanders

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels returned to practice Wednesday, wearing a brace on his injured left elbow, but coach Dan Quinn says it's too early to determine if he'll play Sunday against the Colts in London.

Daniels, who dislocated his elbow in Week 2 against the Cowboys, will be limited in practice at the team's hotel outside London on Wednesday. "But as we're working through the week, he'll get more reps," Quinn said. "By Friday we'll have a definite determination of where we're at."

The third-year quarterback recently told teammates he won't undergo surgery and wants to return as soon as possible. Daniels has struggled with injuries, missing 11 games over the last two seasons. Marcus Mariota started last week and threw three touchdown passes in a win over Seattle. The Colts beat Houston 19-17, ending a nine-game losing streak. mchezo.life
