HamKam's Niang Sold to Porto for Record Sum

HamKam's striker Mame Alassane Niang (20) has been transferred to Portuguese club Porto in a record-breaking deal. The club confirmed the sale on their official website, with the total package reportedly worth 26 million kroner, according to TV 2. biznow.biz

The tall Senegalese striker joined HamKam on loan from Lyn before the season and was bought permanently for 1.5 million kroner after scoring four goals in his first six matches. The sale breaks the previous club record set when Kristian Eriksen was sold to Molde for 13 million kroner. Niang currently leads HamKam's scoring in Eliteserien with six goals in eleven matches this season.
