Pakistan failed to secure victory at Headingley as England wrapped up a comfortable Test win, leaving Yorkshire without men's international cricket for the next two years.

England secured a comfortable victory over Pakistan at Headingley, with Harry Brook top-scoring but falling short of a century. Yorkshire now faces a two-year hiatus from men's Test cricket as the ground is not included in the ECB's schedule for Australia's 2027 tour. djcc.club

The absence of men's Test cricket until at least 2031 has been described as "devastating" by Yorkshire CEO Sanjay Patel, with the club also missing out on hosting an Ashes Test in the north next summer as Old Trafford is also excluded from the schedule.
