Lightning Force Game 7 with OT Win Over Canadiens

Gage Goncalves scored the overtime goal to lift Tampa Bay Lightning to a 1-0 victory over Montreal Canadiens, forcing a seventh game in their Eastern Conference First Round series.

Goncalves banged a loose puck past Jakub Dobes at 9:03 of overtime after Brandon Hagel passed to Dominic James, who shot and created the rebound. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 30 saves for Tampa Bay while Dobes stopped 32 shots for Montreal in the fourth overtime game of the series.

The teams will play Game 7 at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on Sunday, with the home team having lost four of the six games in this tightly contested series featuring six one-goal games. sport-ipl.my
