Moe Berg Fails to Finish in Finland

Norwegian runner Håkon Moe Berg was unable to complete the 1500-meter race at a continental tour event in Finland on Wednesday evening. The 19-year-old was leading for much of the race but cramped up near the finish, ultimately placing fourth with a time of 3:33.29. Spanish athlete Mohamed Attaoui won with a personal best of 3:31.82, followed by Belgian Ruben Verheyden and American Sam Prakel.

Berg, who has a personal best of 3:30.28 from last year, is targeting a time under 3:30 this season. rocore.sbs
