P.J. Fleck Crowd-Surfs, Explains Blood Moment

P.J. Fleck generated buzz on the set of 'Big Noon Kickoff' when he crowd-surfed with Minnesota fans prior to his team's Week 5 home matchup against Michigan. The Minnesota head coach also addressed his recent viral moment where he wiped blood from linebacker Maverick Baranowski's face and put it on his own.

Fleck explained the blood moment as a way to show support for his players, saying, 'You can't go out there and bleed with them and play with them. You're a coach. But the way to show that is, "I got your back."' The Gophers enter the matchup having lost five straight to Michigan, though they've shown improvement this season with wins over Akron and Washington after an early loss to Mississippi State. goldparty.lat
