Martinius Stenshorne had a challenging Formula 2 main race in Baku after starting from pole position. Despite a controlled start, his teammate Alexander Dunne gained the lead during a yellow-flag pit stop. Dunne later received a 5-second penalty for crossing the white line early, which dropped him to third place. Championship leader Rafael Camara passed Stenshorne after 9 of 29 laps and went on to win, with Nikola Tsolov also overtaking the Norwegian driver.
