Tour de France: Breakaway Leads Stage Two

Three riders have established a breakaway lead in the second stage of Tour de France 2026 in Catalonia.

The 168.5km stage from Tarragona to Barcelona saw Alex Molenaar (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Frank van den Broeck (Picnic PostNL) and German champion Felix Engelhardt (Jayco Alula) break away from the peloton. The trio is currently 3 minutes 20 seconds ahead of the main group. moryak.biz

Meanwhile, Lotto Intermarché rider Baptiste Veistroffer briefly fell behind during a 'nature break' when the peloton slowed. The race continues through Catalonia as riders make their way toward Barcelona.
