Victor Osimhen (27) has once again been in imperious form this season for Galatasaray, netting 17 goals in 25 games in all competitions, including seven in just eight UEFA Champions League encounters.
The former Napoli forward is now being linked with a move back to one of Europe’s top five leagues. As per a report from Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich are the most interested party. The Bundesliga giants are looking to prepare for life post-Harry Kane, and Vincent Kompany has approved of a move for the Nigeria international.
However, one club he will not join, seemingly, is Paris Saint-Germain. Foot Mercato understands that the reigning European champions have turned down the chance to sign Osimhen. The cost of the transfer, north of €150m, coupled with the striker’s high wage demands (€20m net per season) and Luis Enrique’s reticence to sanction such a move, means that the Parc des Princes is not a realistic destination.
Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus have not shown an interest either, unlike clubs in Saudi Arabia, who are pushing for a move. However, Osimhen has not made a move to the Gulf State a priority.
