Breanna Stewart and the Mist overcame Kelsey Plum's 40-point performance to defeat the top-seeded Phantom 80-74 in the Unrivaled championship game. Plum scored 18 of her team's 24 points in the first quarter, but Stewart's 32-point performance, including a 10-0 solo run in the third quarter, propelled the Mist to victory.
The Mist players each earned $100,000 from the $600,000 prize pool, an increase from the $50,000 each player received during last season's championship. The victory completed Unrivaled's second season of the three-on-three league held during the WNBA's offseason.
