San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Kalia Davis will become a free agent after the team chose not to tender him as a restricted free agent. Davis started all 17 regular-season games for the 49ers last season, setting career-highs in combined tackles (28), tackles for loss (four), batted balls (three), and quarterback hits (two).
The Titans are seeking defensive line depth after trading away T'Vondre Sweat and with Sebastian Joseph-Day and James Lynch becoming unrestricted free agents. Davis, a former sixth-round pick out of UCF, could be a likely target for Tennessee as they look to add multiple defensive linemen throughout the offseason.
